Organization Overview History
The genesis of SES Foundation is a story of shared passion and commitment to sustainability. It all began when alumni from the Raisina Schools' 1980s batch reconnected and discovered a common thread in their diverse careers: each had made significant strides in the fields of sustainability, environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG), and public policy. Their work had spanned across prestigious government institutions and had been driven by a deep-seated passion for environmental advocacy.
As they exchanged stories and experiences, they recognized the profound impact their collective efforts could achieve. With the challenges of climate change escalating and the need for actionable solutions becoming more urgent, these individuals were compelled to amplify their impact. It was this shared concern for the planet and the well-being of its communities that ignited the idea of the SES Foundation.
Resolved to make a tangible difference, they decided to channel their wealth of experience, expertise, and resources into a unified force. Thus, SES Foundation was born - a non-profit organization with a mission to provide innovative, sustainable solutions to some of the nation's most pressing environmental problems.

Our mission is to empower a sustainable and economically resilient future for India and other developing countries, through the adoption of green solutions, clean energy, efficient water resource management and circular economic principles. By leveraging innovative financing and inclusive networking, and effective implementation, we aim to design and implement groundbreaking projects that set new standards for environmental stewardship. We stand at the forefront of practical knowledge as integrators and total solution providers, helping stakeholders and policy and decision makers to evolve as champions of sustainability.
